這首歌中隱喻不少，甚至有些片語的用法在字典裡根本查不到，相當不好翻。Caught in the middle of a hundred and five這句話應該翻成：在一百零五的中間被捕，但什麼意思實在不懂，在下翻了不少資料也無法參透玄機，請外國網友解釋，也只得到一些模稜兩可的答案。有位外國網友認為應該是指當晚的氣溫，另有一位台灣樂友請教外國友人，認為應該是事發地點的門牌號碼剛好是105號，但這個解釋也只能當作參考。只好暫時列入Ｘ檔案，期待高明指點。

這句話的確令人匪夷所思，1995年的時候,有人在網站上問了Mike Oldfield這個問題，Mike的回答是說,這邊的「hundred and five」是指105人，是要表達有很多人的意思，至於為什麼是 105？而不是104或者是其它的數字，Mike 表示只是因為Five和下一行的Alive押韻
